Prior to TI Platform, Alex managed capital for clients at premier endowments, foundations, family offices, insurance firms, sovereign wealth funds, and pension funds since 2003.He has helped invest over $2 billion in 50 funds with a track record of investing over $1 billion in 50+ funds for institutional investors with an IRR of 30%+ and 2x NAV. Alex Haro is the cofounder and CEO of Hubble Network. Hubble is building a global satellite network that any Bluetooth-enabled device can connect to, even without cellular reception. Hubble’s mission is to get a billion devices connected to the network and unlock a new era of human-machine collaboration. Prior to cofounding Hubble, Mr. Haro was the co-founder and CTO of Life360, a market leading app for families, with features that range from communications to driving safety and location sharing. Life360 is based in San Francisco and has over 40 million monthly active users (MAU). In 2015, Mr. Haro was recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30 in Consumer Technology. Prior to Life360, he worked on Orbited. Mr. Haro studied Computer Science at Pomona College / Harvey Mudd.

Erin Mock, CFA, is a Senior Portfolio Manager leading the Venture Capital Division at the State of Michigan Retirement Systems. With expertise in private equity and venture capital, Erin directs portfolio strategy, manages primary fund investments, and leads direct co-investments for the pension. Previous roles include financial advising and analyst experience, with responsibilities in investment planning, portfolio evaluation, and client relations. Outside of work, Erin enjoys quality time with her husband, daughter, and her two energetic border collies.

Fred joined Carilion Clinic, a Virginia-based healthcare system, in 2015 to lead its investment function, overseeing $3 billion across operating capital and defined benefit pension assets. Previously, he worked at Huntington Ingalls Industries with oversight responsibility for hedge fund and fixed income pension investments and as a generalist at The Pension Boards-United Church of Christ. Prior to moving to the plan sponsor side of investment management, he held different roles at Cohen & Steers and Lord Abbett. He has a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy from Denison University and is a CFA charterholder.

Heads Japan Post Bank’s $30B private equity investment program and has been responsible for all aspects of its creation and construction. Prior to joining Japan Post Bank in January 2016, worked at Nippon Life Insurance Company, where he established and lead Nippon Life’s private equity operations in the US, and was also Head of Product Development at Nissay Asset Management Co. the asset management subsidiary of Nippon Life. He has a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Tokyo, LL.M. from the University of Michigan Law School, has passed the New York Bar Exam and also is a Chartered Member of the Security Analysts Association of Japan.

Hiroshi OZEKI is the President and Chief Executive Officer at Nissay Asset Management Corporation.He joined Nippon Life Insurance Company after graduation from the University of Tokyo in 1987 and has held various roles in loan portfolio management, risk management, corporate strategies, hybrid capital finance, investor relations, ALM, and Asset Allocation of the Life Insurance General Account. Most recently, he has held an executive management role in New York as Regional CEO for the Americas and Europe of Nippon Life.Mr. OZEKI obtained a B.A. in Physics from the University of Tokyo and an A.M.P. from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is also a Chartered Member of the Security Analysts Association of Japan and a Member of The Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence.

James Tan, joined Transpose Platform in April , bringing with him over 19 years of experience working with founders at early-stage, high-growth startups. His entrepreneurial journey started at just 15, when he worked at Purple Cow (JetPens), where he designed web layouts and executed marketing strategies. By 2006, he became the first software intern at Palantir Technologies, contributing to the development of Project Gotham. His early experiences laid the foundation for a successful career in building software platforms and applications from scratch, which have since served millions of users across various industries.James has an impressive track record of leading teams and development at startups such as Plympton, Earbits (YC11), Bodyport (YC15), and AICrete, driving innovation and growth in each venture. Beyond the startup world, he has applied his diverse skill set in enterprise environments, developing impactful solutions at organizations like Phillips Volcano, UC Davis Medical Center, and the Baha’i World Centre. His breadth of experience spans healthcare, streaming services, and even nonprofit initiatives, all supported by his technical expertise, including a BS in Biomedical Engineering from UC Davis.

Jason has co-founded two successful start-ups selling to the enterprise. Most recently, he served as CEO and co-founder of EchoSign, the web’s most popular electronic signature service, from inception through its acquisition by Adobe Systems Inc.

He then served as Vice President, Web Services at Adobe, where he oversaw the growth of EchoSign and Adobe Document Services to $50,000,000 in ARR in 2012 and $100,000,000+ ARR in 2013.

Prior to EchoSign and Adobe, he co-founded one of the only successes in nanotechnology, NanoGram Devices, which was acquired for $50m just 13 months after founding. The technology, built into implantable power cells, has gone on to help extend the lives of thousands.

Kaoru Onishi has been the Executive Officer and Head of Global Product Division at Nissay Asset Management since March 2024, overseeing fund investments for Nippon Life and third-party clients. Previously, she served as General Manager of Foreign Equity & Alternative Investment, managing various alternative investments. She began her career at Nippon Life in 1996 and has over 20 years of experience in alternative investments, including launching private equity programs in New York. She is a chartered member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan and completed the Advanced Management Program at Wharton in 2022.

Ken Kajii is a Partner at Global Brain, where he oversees fund operations, including overall fund strategy, investments in Japanese and global startups, post-investment support, corporate collaborations, fundraising, and CVC fund management. His expertise spans enterprise software, SaaS, AI, FinTech, and DeepTech. Before joining Global Brain, Ken spent 17 years at McKinsey & Company, leading over 270 projects across 10 regions with 1,500 consultants. As the Head of the TMT practice at McKinsey Japan, he drove tech-driven transformations that significantly enhanced competitive advantage for clients both in Japan and globally.

Prabhu is a veteran of the investment industry who brings over 23 years of investment experience with global investment leaders including Barclays Global Investors, Franklin Templeton Investments, and Mellon Capital Management.  He was Managing Director and Senior Investment Strategist at Mellon Capital Management where he helped build the firm’s quantitative equity capabilities.  Previously he was an SVP and Portfolio Manager at Franklin Templeton Investment managing structured equity portfolios. He has also held fixed income portfolio management positions at BGI and NetWest Bank.  He is also a former Trustee of the Federated City Employees Retirement System where he served on the Investment Committee for 6 months. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose and a volunteer with the City of Fremont Police Department.

Having co-founded GLOBIS VC in 1996, Soichi Kariyazono has led internet service and software deals. In 1999, established Apax Globis Japan Fund, a joint venture with Apax Partners. Served as Top Advisor of the Japan Venture Capital Association and held numerous positions on government and ministry committees. Prior to joining GLOBIS, he worked for the Management Consulting Division of Sanwa Research Institute Corporation. He received a BA in Law from Keio University in Japan and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Business.

Subrata Mitra joined Accel in 2008. Subrata is an entrepreneur turned VC, and joined Accel when Erasmic Venture Fund (a firm that he co-founded) rebranded to become part of Accel. Subrata was the first investor in CasaOne, Curefit, Flipkart (substantially acquired by Walmart), Juspay, Moglix, Money View, Mu-Sigma, Myntra (acquired by Flipkart), Scripbox, Virident (acquired by Western Digital), WIBMO (acquired by PayU), and several other category leaders.Prior to Erasmic, Subrata was the Managing Director of India operations for Tavant Technologies, Inc. Tavant was acquired by a U.S.-based mortgage solutions company in 2004. Previously, Subrata was the founder of Firewhite, Inc., which was acquired by Ubiquio, Inc., and later merged into Mobile Planet.Subrata studied Computer Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology at Kanpur, and subsequently received his M.S. from UDel, and Ph.D. from Urbana.

Tom Shinner is Chief Operating Officer of Entrepreneur First (www.joinef.com), the leading global talent investor and incubator. EF invests in top technical talent to help them build startups from scratch in London, Paris, Bangalore, New York and San Francisco. EF has incubated startups worth over $10bn, including Cleo, Tractable and Aztec Protocol.

Before EF, Tom spent seven years working in the UK government, serving as a senior adviser to the Prime Minister in 10 Downing St, as a Director General in the UK’s covid taskforce, and on the main board of two operational departments.

Yuka Hata is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Fund Investments at Japan Investment Corporation (“JIC”). With over 25 years of LP investment experience in domestic/oveseas private equity and VC spaces, Ms. Hata has held pivotal roles at the institutions such as Nissay Asset Management, Nomura Asset Management, and Nomura Private Equity Capital (NPEC). Ms. Hata is a Chartered Member of the Security Analysts Association of Japan., and received a B.A. in Environmental Information from Keio University and an M.B.A. from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales-HEC in Paris.
